Adventurer of art and games

I’m in an unusually good mood

So, earlier this month I wasn’t really all too sharp.

Now, though, I’m feeling strangely satisfied. It’s pretty odd, especially considering that the past couple days have not been too amazing as far as results go. I did manage a bit of decent art today, though some of the days leading up to that weren’t all that great.

I’ve had days where I’ve not been up to drawing, days where I’ve hit more walls (fact: I still don’t have a job yet), and just generally unexciting days.

The good is that yesterday I really sat down and started playing osu! again…this time for real. I don’t know why, but that made me very, very happy. I haven’t truly dedicated myself to playing like that for months, and now that I have, I can’t help but ask, “Why didn’t I do this sooner?” So maybe that’s why I’m in such a good mood. Everything else has been going average, and that’s been my one big highlight, the one time where I delved into something and had an unimaginable amount of fun with it.

Maybe I’ll go out for a run tomorrow. Maybe I’ll work more on my artwork. Most certainly I’ll sit down and play some more again. I’m hoping to get things set up again sometime so that I can start recording my plays again.

Oh, and I sifted through the pile of work on my printer today and put a decent amount of it away. Sometimes it shocks me how much I’ve improved at drawing within the course of a couple years. I flipped through an old sketchbook with work from earlier days at deviantART. It makes me smile being able to see how far I’ve come.

Anyways, that’s just me putting a little from my head down onto virtual paper. It’s 2:40am, and I’m feeling quite cheery. I hope everyone else has been enjoying life lately, too! And that’s really all I have for now, so maybe I’ll write more later.
